National Pet Week is always the first full week of May. This year May 3-9. Since this is the 8th, it's about time I posted a pet pic, don't you think?
But first you might want to know what National Pet Week is. So, let me give you a brief synopsis. It was created in 1981 by the American Veterinary Medical Association to honor the important roles pets have in our lives and to encourage ownership of pets.
What that means is, if you have been contemplating getting a pet, and you know who you are, perhaps it is a good time to find a forever home for a pup who needs one.
